Water Tank
We use a 2100 litre water tank for all our testing. The tank can be heated and cooled to simulate a wide range of ocean temperatures.

Oil Tank
We use a stainless steel oil tank with a water cooler in our testing. This is typical of the type generally installed as part of the vessel structure.

Hydraulic Pump (blue)
Typical size of our hydraulic pump mounted on the PTO of the engine. As you can see, the blue pump is very small considering its power.

Variable 3-Phase Drive
The speed of the motor is controlled by a variable 3-phase drive (white box) to duplicate the changing speed of the propulsion engines. The electromechanical control on the pump circuit maintains a constant volume as set out by the operator regardless of the speed of the engine.

Propulsion Engine Simulation
The working test rig that replicates the entire function of the engine room. You can see that the diesel engine is replaced by a large 3-phase electrical motor which is driving a typical large sized alternator, compressor and hydraulic pump normally mounted to the PTO either on the engine or the gearbox.

Test Panel
Front test panel, simulating all functions and connections that are requested by the customer.
