Firewall
The firewall protects sensitive Combi input circuits against accidental damage by high voltage. In the event of such an accident, only a small relay is damaged. The four horizontally aligned oblong parts can be easily replaced with the spare (located on the far left of the board). It also performs the function of a DC switchboard and all of the equipment that is powered to service the Combi, such as display, evaporators, pumps and controllers. These are individually protected by an easily accessible fuse. The entire Combi system has only two circuit breakers, one AC and one DC.

Protective Front Cover
The front of the unit where the moving clutches are housed is constructed of 12mm protective plexiglass.

Condensation Collection
The tray has a number of machined pockets that collect the condensation and feed it to four drain tubes with push-on fittings. From there, the water is collected into one pipe and then drained to bilge or a container.
